Every Mario RPG is far from a straight translation. To think that every Nintendo game before Awakening was some pristine example of perfect localization shows how little you know. You call me new but you clearly have only been upset about this issue in the past few years rather than the past few decades. You don't think Pokémon has 100% faithful translations, do you? Or any text-heavy game for that matter? If somebody did a text dump for Xenoblade and another for Xenoblade Chronicles and went line by line, comparing every single snippet of dialogue, you don't think there would be a decent amount of innuendos removed? Maybe if someone did a file comparison of every single model, texture, and line of programming, you don't think there'd be some gratuitous changes here and there beyond implementation of the altered logo and dual audio options? Do you think people started campaigns when difficulty settings were removed prior to the Great Censorship Assblasting of the Mid-2010s?
